2U single-track stereo looper — movable window, stutter, speed bend.
The LooLoo family
A family of loopers for Reason, all built on the same idea: record live audio into a buffer, then play the recording itself — window it, stutter it, bend it, layer it. One engine, several devices, each shaped for a different way of working.
// The story
One engine, a family of devices
The LooLoo family started from an uncertain question: could a Rack Extension capture live audio into a buffer and let you perform the recording — not just loop it back, but reshape it in real time, reliably, in time with the song?
Answering that took a lot of work on a shared foundation: tempo-locked recording, clean overdubbing, a movable audible window, stutter, speed-bend with proper recovery, a full CV implementation. That foundation is what the whole family is built on. Each LooLoo device is the same core engine, shaped for a different role — a compact single-track looper, a larger dual-track version, split and performance-oriented variants.
LooLoo Mini was the first to ship — it proved the engine works, and that the concept holds up under real use. LooLoo X-Caliber follows it as the dual-track flagship: two full loopers on one surface, with an on-beat bounce engine and cross-track sync. The rest of the family is built on the same ground, and arrives as each device is ready — never announced before beta or release.

Ready-made setups
A set of Combinator patches is being prepared — LooLoo devices wrapped with useful companion devices and sensible starting settings, so you can drop a complete setup into your rack and start playing.
This downloads section is still being built. The patches will appear here as they are finished.
// Hidden in the rack
There's something to discover
The LooLoo surprise
There's a small surprise hidden in the LooLoo devices — a picture, one of a set. Some turn up readily. A few are rare, and a small handful are very rare indeed. We won't say more than that here — finding out is the point.
Come across one? Discoveries go up on the wall of fame — with the name you choose. The hall of fame, and how to submit what you've found, live on their own page.
